Safety planning support for schools and public agencies

We help Georgia schools, counties, and cities keep their safety plans current, documented, and practiced, with a written record of every review and exercise.

Why this matters now

Georgia's 2025 school safety law, House Bill 268, requires every public school to adopt a behavioral threat assessment plan and to update its school safety plan to include it. The state provides a model protocol and training. Each school still has to fit that protocol to its own buildings, staff, and community, and keep the records to show it.

Counties and cities carry similar responsibilities for their own facilities and public events. Plans age quickly when staff change, buildings are renovated, or events grow.

Outside help is most useful for the work in between: reviewing what exists, writing down how it actually works, and testing it with the people who would use it.

What we provide

  • Safety plan reviews. A section-by-section review against state requirements and federal guidance, with a written list of gaps.
  • Threat assessment plan documentation. Roles, referral steps, and record-keeping built around the state's model protocol.
  • Drills and tabletop exercises. Scenario-based sessions with a written after-action report and a corrective action list.
  • Emergency action plans for county and city buildings, written to federal workplace requirements.
  • Event safety plans for festivals, fairs, and public gatherings.
  • Staff and volunteer training on emergency procedures and situational awareness.

How we work with agencies

We quote fixed-scope projects or bill $100 per hour, and we work within your purchasing process, including quotes, purchase orders, and vendor registration.

Every engagement ends with a written deliverable your team keeps: a gap list, an updated plan, or an after-action report.

Where our role ends

We support plans, processes, and exercises. Assessments of individual students remain with each school's own threat assessment team, along with the protected records those assessments involve.
